Worthy Update - Great first show.

Here's the latest news about Worthy, by Neptune, from his new home in Indiana....."Worthy is doing just great! I am so happy with him and absolutely love riding him! I am still training with Lauren and she has had so much fun working with him as well. Our first show was in April in Cincinnati, both judges we're really impressed with him and had great comments. We received this good news from the owners of Klaes de Sceppere. The talented young stallion continues to amaze.

We are very proud to let you all know that our Friesian Stallion Klaes de Sceppere ( sire Ulbert 390) has achieved the prestigious Sport predicate in no more than 4 Series ( 2 competitions ) scoring the 5 points required within the Z1 Level. ( scoring 64 % to 70% ) Only this January he was able to start at Z1 Level due to his age, he will turn 6 this Spring.  Read more...

We were recently sent photos and information about the 5 yr old KFPS stallion, Klaes de Sceppere by Ulbert . The photo’s where taken at the County Championships this February level L2.

Teade Son, Sylvester P Begins Stallion Test

The second Central Examination to be held in North America will soon be getting under way. Two stallions qualified to participate and have since met the requirements for X-ray and semen testing. Windover Farm Horses On Top in USA and Holland

Two Windover Farm horses are in the spotlight. Owner Margaret Dauber reports that Barishnikov by Contango was sold in November 2008, at the Performance Horse Auction in Holland for the highest price paid at the event. We were fortunate enough to catch Missy Ransehousen and Critical Decision at the Sunken Road jump at Rolex. The 4 star event was a qualifier for the 2008 Olympic team in Hong Kong. The team came in 3rd with a score of 57.3.  Read more...

Unika by Contango

Unika, aka Jeffery, and his owner Jennifer Wilson-Horr, have been busy showing and winning at dressage shows on the east coast. The team claimed the Championship and High Score honors for 2nd Lvl. at the University of New Hampshire. They scored 72%. Congratulations!

Oslo by Contango on Gold Medal Team

Canada’s Junior Dressage Team won the Gold Medal in Junior Team competition at the CN North American Junior and Young Riders’ Championships in Lexington. Canadian team member, Lindsay Seidel-Wassenaar of Bluffton, Alberta, scored 66.750% on Oslo.  Read more...

Artesian by Judgement Grand Champion

Willy Arts of DG Bar Ranch took the 2 year old Artesian, by Judgement ISF, to a dressage breeding show for a bit of experience before this fall's NAWPN keuring. The colt had a fabulous 'practice round', winning Grand Champion. Congratulations!

Rumor has it he is also quite a jumper.

Najinska by Consul Win at FEI Levels

Najinska by Consul was Reserve High Percentage FEI Champion all 3 days at Dressage In The Rockies. Najinska is a Star Sport mare bred by Sally Shaffer of Flatbush Farm, and owned and shown by Shannon Dahmer.

Walden ISF Champion Training Lvl.

Walden ISF, by Contango, had a wonderful first show in Mason City, Iowa. He earned a score of 71.30% at Training 1.

Training 4 he received a 69.20%. On Sunday he did the USEF 4 yr old test and received a 70.60%. Comments: elegant modern type with active hind legs, correct according to scale of training. He received Champ. for Training Level. We are very proud of him, he behaved perfectly and now has numerous fans. ..I'll keep you posted of Walden's progress. Thanks for the best horse ever!

Walden's dam, Pandora ISF, is by Consul and is a full sister to Judgement ISF.

Jinjer Bella T Wins Born in the USA Award

Jinjer Bella T., by Juventus, placed First in 2 Yr. Old Fillies with a 77.8%. She was also presented with the "Born In the USA" award at the KDA Breeders Classic II in Lexington, KY, May 2007. Jinjer is owned by Patricia Houchens.

Ovation by Rampal Wins GP with Marcus Fuchs

Ovation by Rampal is owned by #1 Ranked Show Jumping rider Marcus Fuchs. The team tied for 1st Place at the CSIO Puissance of Rome, May 27th. The 2 finalists, Fuchs and John Whitaker [GB] decided to share the title after they each jumped 2.15 meters [7 ft], deciding to spare their mounts the stress of another round.

Idora by Winston Wins USDF Gold Medal

Owner Leanna Dick and Idora recently earned their USDF Gold Medal. "In 1995 I bought my mare, Idora (Winston/Aphrodite) from Ironspring Farm. She was born in 1990 at Ironspring. Two weekends ago, we earned the USDF Gold Medal in Dressage. I rode my very first dressage test on her and now the Grand Prix. She is as sound as ever. She is a very special horse."

More Basil by Consul News

Basil placed 3rd in the PA Bred Yearling class at Devon and 5th in the Non-TB Yearling Class. These were both big classes. He placed 3rd at the Upperville show in a class with more than 11 entries. Basil is owned by Rebecca Mouras.

Oslo is being ridden by a JR/YR, Lindsay Seidel-Wassenaar. The team were named Reserve Champion, Junior Freestyle, at the 2006 Canadian Championship. Congratulations to Lindsey and Olso, we look forward to hearing more.

First UB40 Foal In USA

The first UB40 foal born in the USA was met with more than the usual excitement. It turns out that the breeder, Carrie Pfeifer of Champlin MN and the new foal, Corbel, now share a birthday! What a wonderful gift.

Corbel, a filly, is in the process of being registered with the KWPN-NA. Her dam is a thoroughbred mare. There is another photo posted in the 2007 foal gallery.

Contango Colt to be Exported

This is a rare occurrance. A US bred Dutch Warmblood colt has been sold and is being shipped to the Netherlands! The 2006 colt, Barishnikov by Contango out of Joline [Michelangleo x Akteur with grandam Scandic], was sold to Jan Greve. He will join Voltaire and other noteable Dutch horses including Scandic.

The owner/breeder is Margaret Dauber of Alabama.

Zangria HF by Consul Res. Champ. YH and Res. Grand Champ

Zangria HF (Consul x Hilkina Star/Pele) was shown at SESA ( Southeastern Sporthorse Association ) Breed Show on July22, 2006. She qualified for the USDF finals and won both the Dutch IBC class and 2004 fillies, was Reserve Champion Young Horse and Reserve Grand Champion. Owner, Julie Ballard-Haralson .

Sassafras T by Juventus is KWPN-NA Top Ten

Sassafras T by Juventus out of thoroughbred mare, A Toast to Mar, won the free-jumping portion at the Claybrook Farms KWPN-NA keuring in Michigan. "Sassy" was also awarded Star Premium status in the Auxillary Studbook. She was ranked 6th in Top 10 free-jumping for 2006.

Varsity ISF / Stylin' in the Showing

Varsity, by Contango, won the Young Hunter Championship at the Lexington Spring Encore. We still haven't decided if he will make a jumper, hunter, or a super comfortable equitation horse, but he is definitely a good boy! He takes little or no prep to go to the ring and is the smartest horse I own.

Rukas attended his first show in Conyers, GA last month - USDF/USEF Cosequin Breeders Championship. He was shown in the 2005 Colts class as a sporthorse prospect and received 4th place with a score of 67%. Rukas is owned by Kim Osborne and is currently for sale.
