Amethyst is a truly beautiful Contango daughter. This big, friendly mare has great conformation and three solid gaits. She is balanced in the canter and has a nice, sweeping trot.

She has shown exceptional talent for jumping through the free jump chute and stays quiet and relaxed. She just recently started jumping under saddle and is really enjoying it. She is willing and exceptionally careful, with nice form over the fences.

With her movement, temperament and pedigree, Amethyst is the type of horse who could excel in any discipline. She would also be an excellent event prospect. Amethyst will be awarded star with a qualifying IBOP score.

At the 2009 KWPN Keuring, Amethyst was the Champion of the ISF Cup for 4 year old Jumpers with a score of 71.0%. For the 2009 KWPN-NA Top Five, Amethyst was 3rd in the country in the ISF Cup for 4 Year Old Jumpers.
