Client Webpage Instructions
We provide this service so that you can build your own home on the web and within the ISF website community. Your web page is for the display, marketing and promotion of ISF stallion offspring and your farm. A few simple guidelines will help insure that your page looks it’s best and is easy for you to build and edit.
Photos
You may display up to three photos at one time on your web page. Make sure your photos are of good quality, in focus and not too dark. Taking photos with the sun at your back always works best. Please be sure your photo is under 1MB in size.
If you’ve named your photo, be sure it has a name that doesn’t include a space. If your photo is named Willy by Contango you will need to rename the image willybycontango, for example.
Image Orientation
Ideally you will upload images that are all oriented in the same direction either all horizontal or vertical. Look through the other Client Web Pages to see how the different configurations display. If you have both horizontal and vertical and have three photos, grouping two of the same orientation together works best.
Text
The page looks best if you include some copy with the photos. Again, look through the pages that are already posted to see what works best.
Editing Photos
You may edit the text and images for your Client Web Page at any time. If you want to change a photo, delete the existing image first, then upload the new image.
Editing Text
This is simple. Replace current text with your updates, just like in a Word document.
Monitor System
The ISF web site includes a monitor system that places your submissions into a temporary file so we may review it before it goes live on the web site. This means you don’t have to worry about ‘breaking’ anything. It also allows us to evaluate submissions to be sure only appropriate content is uploaded. We reserve the right to remove content at any time.
