Breeding Profile

Stallion Characteristics
Sir Sinclair is an exceptional sire. Honest, reliable, with an excellent temperament and character, he is friendly, easy going, and very willing to work. Sir Sinclair has always been a quick learner and has a natural aptitude for dressage. His walk is pure and big. His trot and canter are supple, elastic and show tremendous balance and power.

Sire is incredibly fun to ride and train. He’s always in a good mood and happy to be around people and other animals. He is inquisitive and loves to watch everything around him. Sir is not hot or spooky, but he is very forward to ride and eager to please.

Sir Sinclair has a moderate talent for jumping. He jumps with sufficient leg technique but he could use his body better. He seems careful and shows moderate to sufficient scope. He would be fine as a sire for eventing or hunters, but not one to breed to for jumpers.

Breeding Notes
In general Sir’s offspring are much like their father – friendly, gentle and easy to train and work with. They are very similar to him in body type and movement. Even when bred to a fine boned mare you should get more bone, but the offspring won’t be too heavy. He is ideal for large boned mares that need a more modern type stallion.

The offspring are very easy to start and fun to ride. He does not throw a lot of white. He has only had bay foals unless bred to a gray or pinto – in those cases he has produced gray and pinto foals. He has never produced chestnut. Sir is a good stallion to breed to “hot” mares since the offspring tend to have his easy going temperament. The foals are also brave, not spooky, and very kind.
