Zabrina ISF, Star

Zabrina ISF is a feminine, modern 2015 16.1½ hh KFPS mare bred here at Iron Spring Farm. Zabrina displays solid conformation, an elegant type, and three quality gaits with a good, naturally uphill tendency. In 2018, she was designated Star at her FHANA keuring and also showed very successfully at Dressage at Devon, winning the Friesian IBC Class with a top score of 78.8%.

Zabrina is a pleasure to work around in the barn and has a curious nature, with an especially kind eye. Sire Tjalbert 460 earned good scores under saddle and was victorious at the Friesian Indoor Dressage Championships in the Netherlands prior to being imported to the States. Noted for his strong conformation, excellent gaits with an active hind leg, and a highly trainable work ethic, Tjalbert has proven to pass these qualities onto his offspring in a consistent manner. Zabrina is out of the Model mare Nynke Ris, by Brend 413, Sport. In addition to multiple inhand placings at Dressage at Devon, Nynke was a favorite of ours under saddle with her good movement and Amateur-friendly disposition.
