We love to hear how your ISF-sired horses are doing. Here's an update from Donna Kline at Mole End Farm.
Dear Meghan,
About 15 years ago, I bred my TB mare Cupbearer to Neptune. She produced a lovely correct filly. However, I did little with the filly except basic lungeing and so forth. I sold her to a man in his 40's who had competed in hunters as a young man but not ridden for many years. He fell in love with Dahlia and has given her a great home and a lovely partnership. He's had her about 3 years now and here's his latest news from Great Southwest, a major Houston show venue.
"Hi Donna, Today Dali and I won the Long Stirrup division at Great Southwest. We had won all the shows we entered in Beginners and my trainer, Hannah Kissoon, made me go up to the next level. I was nervous but Missy did soooo great! She is loved by all and the most spoiled at the barn. Hope all is swell with you! Dahlia says, "Hay"!
Donna continues, "I'm so proud of both of them. What a nice disposition Dahlia has to learn with her rider. I know that Iron Spring produces many grand prix champions but nice amateurs need grand horses too!" Donna Kline
