UNO Day Sun Wins Danish Grand Prix
Team ISF continued their Florida show season, competing at the Palm Beach Dressage Derby and Adequan Global Dressage Festival 9. Kaiman moved up to Fourth Level Test 3, receiving a 69.027% and second place at Global. Catherine Malone and her Lusitano gelding Johnny Walker CLB earned three more blue ribbons at Prix St. Georges and Intermediate I.
Across the pond, UNO Day Sun (by Uno Don Diego) had a great start to her 2024 show season, winning the Grand Prix at Vilhelmsborg in Denmark last weekend with a 70.867%. The 2013 bay mare, out of UNO Rosita Sun, by Blue Hors Rosoff, is ridden by Kenneth Damgaard. The pair have won numerous national level Grand Prix classes and also successfully competed at the CDI3* Grand Prix level in 2023.
The 2020 gelding Pontifex Van de Debbehoeve, by Cum Laude, made his horse show debut in January. In March, the youngster earned scores up to 72% at Training Level at the Emerald Classic I dressage show in Texas. Owned and ridden by Amatey Wensel, Pontifex is out of Blondison, by Rosario.
Additional offspring highlights early this show season include solid Grand Prix scores from Gentelman (by UB40) and Con Brio SDF (by Sir Sinclair, Keur). Also collecting blue ribbons: Alain Delon (by UB40), showing Intermediate II, and Klassik (by Florianus II, Crown) winning at Fourth Level
