Dressage at Devon is always one of our favorite shows of the year. With its distinctive blue grandstands and an atmosphere like no other, DAD is a dressage lover's paradise. It also offers breeders the chance to showcase their breeding programs at one of the largest breed shows in North America. With three days of breed classes, there is something for everyone.
Noblewood Tarpania (Revolution x Fürst Romancier) had a successful show. The four-year-old mare, bred by A.P.G. de Lange, won the Grand Champion, Mature Horse Champion and Mare Champion titles.
Frankie, as she’s known in the barn, was spotted as a foal by Catherine Malone as a future performance and broodmare prospect, continuing the ISF tradition of bringing strong damlines to North America.
“Noblewood Tarpania presented herself very well at Devon,” said Malone. “We’re so fortunate to have her and look forward to her bright future.”
Rhythm ISF Wins Young Horse Championship
The ISF homebred Rhythm ISF (Top Gear x Love Dance by Vitalis) claimed the Young Horse Championship and the Filly Reserve Championship, along with blue ribbons in the Yearling Filly and KWPN classes with scores as high as 82.60%.
With a mix of Totilas, Vitalis and Fürst Romancier bloodlines, Rhythm ISF is a modern sport horse. She’s inherited her dam’s super temperament, intelligence and looks, making her an exciting prospect. “Rhythm is a great example of what Iron Spring wants to breed each season,” said Malone.
