Ursa ISF

Ursa ISF is a high quality 2024 KWPN-NA Register B filly sired by Cum Laude and out of Zabrina ISF, Star, by Tjalbert 460. At our 2024 KWPN-NA keuring, Ursa was highest scoring foal of the day with an 80 on conformation and a 76 on movement. She has continued to develop in a positive way with a nice modern type, long lines, and a lot of elegance. She has ample power in the gaits with nice articulation of the joints and is naturally uphill. Ursa is people-oriented with a nice level of sensitivity that serious Dressage enthusiasts will appreciate in a future performance horse. She is good to work around in the barn, seeks connection with her handler, and has a kind demeanor. Located and available to be seen in Coatesville, PA, radiographs available.

Sire Cum Laude, a son of the international Grand Prix horse Apache, Preferent, is now making a name for himself as a top breeding stallion in North America after enjoying success in the performance rings of Europe. Under Vai Bruntink, Cum Laude was developed through the young horse classes up to the CDI3* level, including winning his CDI small tour debut at the World Championships for Young Horses with a 71.618% in the Prix St. Georges. The Cum Laude offspring have been well received at their keurings, with several Elite daughters and First Premium foals to his credit, as well as the son No Worries SL being selected for the second-round viewing of the KWPN stallion show. Cum Laude passes on his very good type, powerful gaits, and a people-friendly demeanor.

The dam Zabrina ISF was designated Star at her FHANA keuring and also showed very successfully at Dressage at Devon, winning the Broodmare class with an 80.2% in 2025. Zabrina is a pleasure to work around in the barn and was nice to ride before she joined our broodmare band. Her sire Tjalbert 460 is noted for his strong conformation, excellent gaits, and a highly trainable work ethic. Zabrina is out of the Model mare Nynke Ris, by Brend 413, Sport. In addition to multiple in-hand placings at Dressage at Devon, Nynke was a favorite of ours under saddle with her good movement and Amateur-friendly disposition.
