Waldon ISF

Waldon ISF is a handsome 16H 2023 KFPS Friesian gelding sired by the international Grand Prix stallion Goffert 369, Sport, and out of Zabrina ISF, Star, by Tjalbert 460. At his 2023 FHANA keuring, Waldon was named 2^nd Premie and Champion Colt based on his good qualities in both conformation and movement. He has continued to develop in a positive way and was lightly started under saddle this Spring for approximately 30 days, including hacking out. Waldon was a quick study and has impressed us with his easy-going attitude, ability to learn new things, and his good work ethic. He is good to work around in the barn for everyday tasks and is ready to find his person to build a partnership for the future. Finish him your way! Sire Goffert 369 finished his stallion performance test in 1997 and was subsequently imported to the United States in 2002. Goffert was the first Friesian to compete at the international Grand Prix level and especially excelled in the piaffe and passage. His sport career included winning the Grand Prix Freestyle at the Kentucky Horse Park with a 74.1%, as well as a 4^th place finish in the CDI-W Grand Prix Freestyle at Dressage at Devon with a 69.5%. Recognized worldwide, Goffert was invited in 2004 to perform at the 125^th Anniversary of the Friesian Studbook in the Netherlands to an audience of ten thousand spectators. He was also immortalized as the 2006 Breyer Friesian Horse of the Year Model.

The dam Zabrina ISF was designated Star at her FHANA keuring and also showed very successfully at Dressage at Devon, winning the Broodmare class with an 80.2% in 2025. Zabrina is a pleasure to work around in the barn and was nice to ride before she joined our broodmare band. Her sire Tjalbert 460 is noted for his strong conformation, excellent gaits, and a highly trainable work ethic. Zabrina is out of the Model mare Nynke Ris, by Brend 413, Sport. In addition to multiple in hand placings at Dressage at Devon, Nynke was a favorite of ours under saddle with her good movement and Amateur-friendly disposition.
