Sir Sinclair is one of the most prolific sires of FEI dressage horses worldwide. He was ranked #1 Dressage Sire by the USEF in 2015, 2016 and 2017, and was awarded the Keur predicate by the KWPN for his excellence as a sire.
Among his offspring’s accomplishments: US Dressage Finals Grand Prix Championship, numerous USDF Horse of the Year and USDF All Breeds Horse of the Year Awards, GAIG/USDF Regional Championships, CDI3* Grand Prix Winner, KWPN-NA Top 5 North American Championships, World Equestrian Games (WEG) team gold and individual silver medal in combined driving, and so much more. In addition, Sir Sinclair won the Get of Sire class at the prestigious Dressage at Devon Breed Show a historic five times. Sir was also a successful dressage horse in his own right, collecting blue ribbons through Prix St. Georges and winning the Markel/USEF FEI Six-Year-Old Young Horse National Championship.
Career in Sport
Sir Sinclair’s athletic ability was obvious at an early age. He began his career as an impressive young athlete, placing in the Top Ten in the prestigious PAVO Cup before being imported to the United States. Sir competed in the FEI Young Horse divisions, claiming the Six-Year Old Championship and Five-Year-Old Reserve Markel/USEF Championship. He continued moving up the levels to Prix St. Georges and Developing Horse with scores as high as 72%. Sir successfully schooled and showed great talent for Grand Prix, but was unable to compete due to chronic lyme disease.
Sir Sinclair has sired numerous Grand Prix horses, including Zuperman, William, Air Marshal, Dee Clair, Warina, Westerstorm and Zania. He also has dozens and dozens of sons and daughters competing at the FEI level around the world. He is the sire of one Approved stallion and two licensed sons, as well as breed show champions, Star and Keur mares, and 28 KWPN-NA Top Award winners, including 13 Champions. Sir has champion offspring in dressage, hunters and driving, demonstrating his impressive versatility as a sire.
