Profile

Brend 413, Sport, was a cherished and accomplished Friesian dressage champion, known not only for his impressive competitive achievements but also for his warm and willing nature. As a dressage competitor, Brend rose through the ranks, distinguishing himself with his expressive, balanced movement and powerful, uphill canter. He captured ZZ level titles in the Netherlands before continuing his winning streak in North America, where he earned accolades including the GAIG/USDF Region 1 Third Level AA Championship in 2008.

In addition to his own success, Brend 413 sired numerous National and World Champions. In 2023 he earned the prestigious ranking of #2 Leading Sire of Friesians by the USEF. Many of his sons and daughters have gone on to earn Star, Crown and Model predicates, underscoring his legacy as a leading sire. Brend's unique blend of talent, work ethic and amiable temperament made him loved and celebrated by all who knew him.
