Iron Spring Farm Newsletter | April 2020

Spring has sprung! The farm is abuzz with flowers, wildlife, and vibrant fields. We've welcomed several new foals and there are more still on the way.

We just wrapped up another great winter season in Wellington and enjoyed meeting many new clients and friends. Our horses trained and showed very successfully and we are excited to bring the momentum home to Pennsylvania.

If you've been missing the excitement of riding lessons and horse shows, check out this month's article (below). We found online opportunities for equestrians to enjoy sport and competition from home.

April Featured Sales Horses

Named Reserve Champion Colt at his FHANA Keuring as a foal, Dante displays solid conformation and quality riding horse gaits. Margot ISFÂ is a special 2017 15.2hh KWPN mare sired by Sir Sinclair, Keur, and out of the accomplished Elite/Sport mare, Ballerina Ceroon, by Oscar. Conformationally correct with above average movement, this filly has all the makings of a top-class prospect for both breeding and sport. Named 1st Premium at her KWPN-NA Keuring as a foal, Margot has gone on to show very successfully in hand at Dressage at Devon, including being Reserve Champion Filly for 2019. Margot is handled daily, has experience traveling, and enjoys connecting with people.

Awesome ISF, Star (Ulbert 390, Sport x Winsome ISF, Star, by Winand 405) and ISF Sales Manager Quinnten Alston enjoying the open spaces of our PA farm this morning. Quinnten reports that Awesome is "a self-confident and responsive partner under saddle who comes out every day with a genuinely positive attitude." Awesome's half-brother, Dante ISF, by Brend 413, Sport, is on our current Sales List and should follow in the footsteps of his sister as a wonderful performance prospect.
