Radar Love ISF, Star, took top honors at the FHANA Keuring held at Iron Spring Farm this fall. The three-year-old gelding was named 1st Premie Star, Champion Gelding and Champion of the Day. Radar Love ISF, Star, is by the popular stallion Tjalbert 460 and out of Yfke fan Fjildsicht, Model, by Harmen 424, Sport, one of ISF’s most beloved mares.
“Radar Love is a nice combination of his sire and dam,” said Quinnten Alston, sales manager Iron Spring Farm. “He’s sensitive, yet sensible.” Radar Love was started under saddle this year and is showing great natural quality.
Another Tjalbert daughter, Rosalee ISF, Star (Tjalbert 460 x With Love ISF, Star, by Teade 392, Sport), also had an incredible keuring. She received her Star predicate and was awarded 2nd Premie, Champion Mare and Reserve Champion of the Day. Rosalee ISF, Star is a two-time Dressage at Devon winner.
Radar Love’s full sister, Margarita ISF, Star, received an 80.5 in the dressage IBOP. Margarita ISF, Star, held the title of Mare Champion and Champion of the Day at the 2023 FHANA Keuring held at ISF.
These young horses are excellent representatives of their sire Tjalbert 460, a dressage champion in the Netherlands.
“Tjalbert’s offspring excel both in the breed shows and dressage,” said Meghan deGaray, breeding manager at ISF. His son Redbad fan Egypte was selected for the 2014 KFPS stallion before being imported to the US. He’s now winning in the dressage ring with scores in the 70s at Third Level. Redbad fan Egypte was named Third Level Open Reserve Champion at the 2024 California Dressage Society Championships.
Rounding out the success at the Coatesville FHANA Keuring was Romeo ISF, Star (Ulbert 390, Sport x Zabrina ISF, Star by Tjalbert 460). He received his Star predicate, a rare honor for American-bred stallions.
