Congratulations to Kylee Kment and Honor, by Sir Sinclair, Keur, on winning gold and silver medals at the 2021 FEI North American Youth Championships for Dressage in Traverse City, Michigan. Honor and Kylee helped the Region 4 Team win gold in the Young Rider Junior Team Final on Thursday by placing 1st with a 69.606%. They then went on to win the silver individual medal with a 68.941% at yesterday’s Junior Individual Championship.
Honor is Kylee’s mother Jami Kment’s 9-year-old KWPN-NA gelding, bred by Kylee’s grandmother, Linda Smith. Honor is a full sibling to the successful FEI dressage horse, Eschaton, also bred by Linda, out of her Carpaccio mare, Melisande. Kylee and her younger sister, Lexi, stood on the podium together as fellow competitors and teammates at the NAYC and we couldn’t be happier for the Kment family and all their connections!
