Iron Spring Farm’s Sir Sinclair, Keur, won the prestigious Get of Sire class at the Dressage at Devon (DAD) Breed Show for a record sixth time. He was victorious 2006-2009, as well as in 2015. This year, Sir was represented in the class by Nureyev ISF (2018 colt) and Margot ISF (2017 filly). Both offspring also had big DAD success of their own. Nureyev ISF was named Reserve Champion Foal, and Margot ISF won the Yearling Filly class with an 81.450%. Margot and Nureyev are full siblings. Both are out of the Elite/Sport mare Ballerina Ceroon (by Oscar).

Sir’s sons and daughters are also winning at dressage shows nationwide. He is currently ranked #1 USEF Dressage Sire for the fourth consecutive year, with numerous offspring competing through Grand Prix.

Noah ISF Sweeps the Foal Championships

Noah ISF had an impressive show debut at DAD. He won the Colts of 2018 class, as well as both the Foal Championship and the USDF East Coast Final Foal Championship with an 80.175%.   The Contango son was quite relaxed throughout the preparation for the prestigious show. Yet like most Contango offspring, Noah is a born show horse and lit up the ring with his exceptional movement when it counted. In addition to Contango’s Grand Prix genes, Noah has important performance bloodlines on his dam side too. He’s out of the Grand Prix mare Cayenne W, by Carabas. Bred by the well-known Grand Prix producer Wolfram Wittig, Cayenne W was the 5-Year-Old World Champion Young Dressage Horse at Verden in 2007.

Contango was also represented by Kavalier ISF, who won the blue ribbon in the KWPN class with an 81.350%. Three additional ISF stallions also sired blue ribbon winners this year. Zabrina ISF, by Tjalbert 460 out of Nynke Ris, Model, won the Friesian class. The Florianus II daughter Natalia won the Fillies of 2018 class. The dark bay filly is out of Beatrice VDL (by Prestige VDL). Natalia was bred by and is owned by Denise Osborne. In the performance division, the UB40 son Justice OF took home the blue in the USEF 4-Year-Old Test. Justice is out of Arunee, by Sir Sinclair, Keur. He is owned and ridden by Kaitlin Blythe and was bred by Terry Long.
