We had a wonderful update from Jamie Hedges of Virginia on her ISF-sold Friesian horses Zander ISF (2015 gelding by Teade 392, Sport) and Windhorse Ysis (2007 mare by Winand 405), both out of Cleo van het Binnenveld, Star (by Heinse 354, Sport/Pref.)

Trainer and rider Allison Spivey took Zander and Ysis to the recent 2021 GAIG/USDF Region 1 Championships with solid success. Zander earned a 68.194% in his First Level championship class. Ysis was in three championship classes: Prix St. Georges, Intermediaire I, and Intermediaire I Freestyle. She finished in the top half of the PSG and the I-1 with scores +65% and took 8th place in the I-1 freestyle with a 66.162%.

“It was a great year for us, topped off with Zander finishing in 2nd place in the FHANA Adequan®/USDF All-Breeds recognition awards at First Level, and Ysis finishing in 1st place in both the I-1 and I-1 freestyle!! We are already looking forward to next year's show season. I've attached a couple of photos -- one of Ysis, one of Zander (you can always tell its him because he is so uphill and has a to-die-for tail) and one of the kids on the trailer after their successful outing at regionals. My ISF 'kids' have brought me so much joy over the years and I am looking forward to many more with them.”

Thanks, Jamie! We love following ISF-bred and sold horses in their careers after ISF. Feel free to send in your horse’s updates anytime, just email info@ironspringfarm.com
