Prix St. Georges Winner
Lowlands OLD is a winning Prix St. Georges stallion with scores in the 70s. He was the silver medalist in the Dutch National Championships at the ZZ-Zwaar Level, as well as a successful young horse competitor, earning a 9.34 in the FEI Six-Year-Old test on his way to the Bundeschampionate (German National Championships).
Lowlands OLD was Reserve Champion at the autumn KWPN Stallion Performance Test in Ermelo in 2019, scoring 8.5 and above in every category, with a total of 87.5. Highlights included 9.5 on the walk, 8.5 on trot, canter, elasticity and balance and a 9 on rideability and attitude. At his testing, the KWPN praised the black stallion for his reliability, concentration under saddle and willingness to work.
Lowlands OLD is an exciting stallion for North American breeders because he is free of Jazz, Ferro and Flemmingh in his pedigree. With a lot of German blood, he can play an important role in Dutch breeding as a blood freshener. His oldest offspring have just started under saddle, with many receiving 1st Premium at keurings and good scores at breed shows.
