Profile

Lowlands OLD (Millennium, Elite x Donnerball x Landadel) is an accomplished dressage stallion whose presence and quality have earned him success in both competition and breeding. He has a strong résumé that includes Prix St. Georges wins with scores up to 72.9%, silver at the Dutch National Championships (ZZ-Zwaar), and a 9.34 in the FEI Six-Year-Old Test on his way to the Bundeschampionate. Before his importation, Lowlands was schooling most of the Grand Prix movements.

Lowlands first gained attention as Reserve Champion of the 2019 KWPN Stallion Performance Test in Ermelo, where he received no score below 8.5, highlighted by a 9.5 for walk and 9.0 for rideability and attitude, for an impressive total of 87.5. The KWPN noted his reliability, focus, and willingness to work- qualities that continue to define him today.

Now standing in the United States, Lowlands offers North American breeders a well-established, modern pedigree that is free of Jazz, Ferro, and Flemmingh, making him a valuable choice for adding proven German blood to Dutch mare lines.

Lowlands’ first crops are showing the qualities breeders hoped for—movement, rideability, and an appealing, willing character. As they begin their early careers, several have already made a strong impression. Symfonie MAB (Lowlands OLD x Johnson, Pref.) was a First Premium Two-Year-Old Dressage filly at the 2024 KWPN-NA Keuring and 3rd with 79.475% in the KWPN class at Dressage at Devon in 2024. Radar Love Wolf (Lowlands OLD x Florencio) was awarded Elite with a 75 conformation / 80 movement score at the 2024 KWPN Studbook Inspection. She earned 77.50 points for her score for her mare test in Ermelo. Rubywood Tarpania (Lowlands OLD x Fürst Romancier) was awarded the Star predicate, earning 80 points for conformation and 80 points for overall movement. Her IBOP score in October 2025 was an excellent 82 points.

These early achievements highlight the excitement surrounding Lowlands’ developing foal crops, as more of his sons and daughters come under saddle and begin to show their potential. Lowlands OLD offers breeders a compelling combination of quality, character, and future potential. He is approved for KWPN, Oldenburg, and Hanoverian.
